Effective Date: July 3, 2025
These Member Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the Relief Alliance membership program. By purchasing a membership package or otherwise joining the organization as a member of the Relief Alliance Family (“Member,” “you,” or “your”), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms, which constitute a binding agreement between you and Relief Alliance (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms, do not complete a membership purchase or otherwise enroll in the Relief Alliance membership program.
Membership in the Relief Alliance is open to individuals, business professionals, nonprofit leaders, creatives, entrepreneurs, and others who align with our mission and values. We reserve the right to approve, deny, or revoke membership at our sole discretion if participation is deemed inconsistent with the spirit or integrity of the organization.
Membership is not an ownership interest, employment contract, or guarantee of income or services. It is a charitable engagement that includes access to select opportunities, events, and resources intended to elevate your platform, amplify your voice, and connect you with our broader alliance network.
Membership is a tax-deductible charitable contribution under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code to the fullest extent allowed by law. Donors should consult with their tax advisor regarding deductibility.
Relief Alliance offers various membership tiers with corresponding benefits. These may include—but are not limited to—networking opportunities, red-carpet event access, media visibility opportunities, award nomination pathways, introductions to strategic partners, and invitations to exclusive gatherings.
All benefits are subject to availability, eligibility, and discretion of Relief Alliance. Benefits may change, be added, or be discontinued without prior notice. Participation in public-facing opportunities (e.g., events, press features, award nominations) may require additional verification or approval.
Membership does not guarantee receipt of media exposure, honors, or awards. Relief Alliance curates opportunities in good faith, but cannot guarantee outcomes or third-party decisions.
Membership is an annual contractual commitment, regardless of whether payments are made in full annually or in monthly installments. By joining, you agree to remain a paying member for the full twelve (12) months from the date of enrollment.
If a payment is more than five (5) calendar days late, a late fee of 10% of the overdue amount will be charged. Additionally, a $25 administrative late fee will be added for each calendar month the payment remains outstanding. All unpaid dues will continue to accrue and must be paid in full, regardless of your level of participation or attendance.
Failure to pay may result in the suspension or denial of all access to Relief Alliance resources, benefits, events, or promotions, without refund. Relief Alliance reserves the right to pursue collection of unpaid dues and take any lawful steps to recover the balance.
Relief Alliance also reserves the right to terminate any member for any reason, with or without cause, at its sole discretion, and without refund. Grounds for termination may include but are not limited to: violation of these Terms, misuse of the alliance name or network, misconduct, or actions contrary to our values and mission.
You may cancel your membership at any time by notifying info@reliefalliance.org, but cancellation does not release you from your financial obligation for the remainder of the annual term. No refunds will be issued for partial participation or non-use of benefits.
As a Member of the Relief Alliance Family, you agree to:
Violation of these expectations may result in suspension or permanent revocation of membership, with or without notice or refund.
All membership contributions are considered nonrefundable charitable donations. Relief Alliance does not issue refunds unless required by law or in the event of proven duplicate or fraudulent charges. Refund requests must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the transaction.
Recurring payments (if applicable) will be billed as described during checkout. Members are responsible for ensuring their payment information remains up to date.
By becoming a member, you agree that Relief Alliance may use your name, likeness, biography, image, testimonials, and other voluntarily provided information in connection with marketing, press, donor updates, and event promotion, unless you notify us otherwise in writing.
Content, training materials, branding, and other intellectual property made available through membership benefits remain the sole property of Relief Alliance and may not be used without express permission.
By joining Relief Alliance, you consent to receive email, SMS, and phone communications regarding your membership, upcoming opportunities, and organizational updates. You may opt out of promotional messaging, but core membership communications are required for active participation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Relief Alliance shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, lost profits, or losses of any kind arising out of or related to your membership participation or reliance on offered opportunities. Relief Alliance makes no warranty or representation regarding specific outcomes from your involvement.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Relief Alliance and its officers, directors, volunteers, agents, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of your conduct, misrepresentations, or misuse of your membership status.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located within the State of Florida.
Relief Alliance reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will become effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued participation following any modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
