STEM Program Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: June 21, 2025

BY BOOKING A SESSION, WORKSHOP, OR ANY STEM PROGRAM SERVICE, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS IN THEIR ENTIRETY.

1. Services Provided

Relief Alliance, Inc. (“Relief Alliance”) provides STEM education services including individual tutoring sessions, virtual workshops, in-person organizational workshops, SAT/ACT preparation, AP Physics instruction, mathematics tutoring, and related educational programming. These Terms govern all such services.

2. Fees and Payment

Individual tutoring sessions are billed at $40 per hour. Virtual workshops (up to 7 participants, 3 hours) are priced at $550 per session. Organizational workshops (in-person or virtual, unlimited participants, 3 hours per day) are priced at $2,500 per day. For in-person organizational workshops, the client organization is also responsible for reimbursing all reasonable travel expenses, lodging, and meal expenses incurred by Relief Alliance personnel, which shall be documented and invoiced separately. All fees are due in full prior to the commencement of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before a scheduled session will receive a full credit toward a future session. Cancellations made within 48 hours of a scheduled session are non-refundable. Relief Alliance reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to instructor unavailability, technical issues, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control, and will provide reasonable notice and an opportunity to reschedule.

4. Certificates of Completion and Community Service Hours

Relief Alliance may issue certificates of completion for STEM workshops and programs. Such certificates document participation only. Community service hours earned through Relief Alliance STEM programs may be accepted for a wide range of purposes including high school graduation requirements, National Honor Society membership, college application requirements, scholarship eligibility, court-ordered community service, scouting requirements, faith community programs, and employer volunteer programs; however, Relief Alliance makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee that such certificates or hours will be accepted by any school, court, organization, employer, or other entity for any particular purpose. Acceptance is solely at the discretion of the receiving organization, and Relief Alliance expressly disclaims any liability arising from the non-acceptance of such documentation.

5. Limitation of Liability and No Guarantee of Outcomes

Relief Alliance makes no guarantee of any specific academic outcome, test score improvement, or educational result from participation in its STEM programs. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RELIEF ALLIANCE’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM STEM PROGRAM SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC SESSION OR WORKSHOP GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

6. Intellectual Property

All curriculum, materials, presentations, and content provided during STEM sessions are the intellectual property of Relief Alliance and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without express written permission.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Orange County, Florida.
