Introduction
Thank you for your interest in participating in the Relief Alliance Raffle. Your participation helps fund our mission to provide critical resources and support to American families impacted by the immigration crisis. By entering the raffle, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before entering.
1. Eligibility
- Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age to enter the raffle. By entering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
- Residency: The raffle is open only to residents of the United States, excluding states where such raffles are prohibited by law. If you are unsure whether your state permits raffles, please review local laws or consult with an attorney.
2. How to Enter
- Free Entry: Although we encourage you to support our cause through a donation, entry into the raffle is free. No donation is required to enter or win.
- Donation: A minimum donation of $10 is requested to support our mission, but it is not mandatory to enter. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated. All proceeds from donations go directly toward providing essential services to American families in crisis.
- Entry Submission: To enter the raffle, you must complete the entry form on our website. Each entry, whether via donation or free entry, counts as one entry into the raffle.
3. Prizes
- Prize Description: The specific prizes for each raffle will be disclosed on the raffle page at the time of the event. Prizes are subject to availability and may be substituted at Relief Alliance’s discretion.
- Prize Value: The approximate retail value of each prize will be provided on the raffle page. Relief Alliance makes no representation or warranty regarding the value, quality, or fitness of the prize.
- Prize Notification: Winners will be notified via email within seven (7) days of the drawing. If the winner does not claim the prize within fourteen (14) days of notification, an alternate winner will be selected at Relief Alliance’s discretion.
4. Raffle Drawing
- Drawing Date: The raffle drawing will take place on the specified date listed on the raffle page. All entries must be received before the drawing deadline to be considered eligible.
- Odds of Winning: The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. The more entries received, the lower the chances of winning for each individual entry.
5. Donations and Use of Funds
- Use of Donations: All donations are processed through Relief Alliance and will be used to fund the organization’s programs, including providing food, shelter, legal assistance, and other resources to American families impacted by the immigration crisis. While we strive to use donations for specific programs, Relief Alliance reserves the right to allocate funds to areas of greatest need at its discretion.
- Tax Deductibility: Relief Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and donations made through the raffle are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Donors will receive a receipt for tax purposes.
6. Refunds and Cancellations
- Refund Policy: Donations are non-refundable, and entries are not refundable. Once a donation has been made, it is final.
- Cancellation of Raffle: In the event of circumstances beyond Relief Alliance’s control, including technical failures or legal restrictions, the raffle may be canceled or suspended at Relief Alliance’s discretion.
7. Liability Disclaimer
- Limitation of Liability: By entering the raffle, you agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless Relief Alliance, its officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and affiliates from any and all liability, injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with your participation in the raffle or the use of any prize.
- No Guarantee of Prize: Relief Alliance makes no representations or warranties regarding the availability, quality, or safety of any prize. The prize is awarded “as is,” and the winner accepts it at their own risk.
- Technical Issues: Relief Alliance is not responsible for any errors or technical failures related to the submission of entries, website issues, or any other technical malfunctions. Entries that are lost, delayed, or incorrectly submitted due to such issues will not be eligible.
8. Publicity
Consent to Use Name and Likeness: By entering the raffle, you consent to the use of your name, likeness, and photograph in any media for promotional purposes related to the raffle and Relief Alliance’s mission. This may include use on Relief Alliance’s website, social media channels, email communications, and other promotional materials, without further compensation.
